その通りだった。そしてあの衝撃の最中にそれをきちんとやり遂げたオバマさんはやっぱりすごいなぁ、と思った。そして、あの時にオバマさんがむやみやたら なテロの可能性に結び付けなかった結果、ボストン事件の真犯人が明らかになり、それがチェチェンからの移民だったということがわかった時にも、むやみな宗教、地域特定の話に話が飛ばなかったんだと思う。

トップが理性を説けば、社会にも理性が生まれる。トップが大慌てしてはダメなのだ。トップが私心に揺り動かされてはダメなのだ。トップはもっと広い世界を見つめながら政治を考えて行かなければならないからだ。そこのところを今の日本の政治家のうち、どれくらいの人が理解しているんだろうか？
